So, I know I said I would write in here every week, but I guess I didn't anticipate the increase in my schedule for the summer. lol.. What a busy one it has been so far. Everything from continuing to move forward with new songs and recording to even filming a feature film have kept me going like the energizer bunny. All the while, the gap in my teeth is slowly starting to close together. I am on tray 7 now, but I am starting to see some real results from the treatment, especially in the upper section. Still no real pain or fuss, just gets tight every now and again when I change trays or leave them off for a couple hours after I've eaten or something, but it's nothing 5 minutes won't fix.
I am loving the fact that I can still do anything with these on and people do not even realize they're there. I mentioned that I filmed a feature film, well, in late May, I was informed that I had been cast in what's called an "S.A.E." role in the Warner Brother's picture "The Blind Side" with Tim Mcgraw and Sandra Bullock. It's a football movie that is due for release on Nov. 20th, 2009 about Michael Oher who just graduated from Ole Miss this past year. My role was primarily stunt work for this one. Having a football background in both playing and coaching, they asked me to come in to do things such as take hits, make plays, etc. So, my whole point to this is, I did this entire film with me braces in. Even while doing the football stunts with the mouthpiece in my mouth. Not to mention I have learned to sing just fine with them as well. They have become part of my life that is very easy to mold to.
